I don't know dude. 150 bucks IS a lot for a pair of headphones. I bought myself the Sennheiser HD 435 (32 Ohm, 110 dB, 18 - 19500 Hz) and that costed 60 euros. The maximum that I would spend on headphones is 70 euros. I aggree, but I did read further though :D

The HD555s are super solid headphones and always a pleasure to listen to. I had a similar experience the first time I got a pair of nice headphones. Even with 320 bitrate recordings you could still hear a lot more detail in the music.
