Guys the reason for the list always being full of trance djs is simple. Trance is the hardest genre of music for a dj to mix. Yeah there are some really good djs and genres out there that nobody knows about but in most cases, these genres are too easy to mix. Hence the reason these djs dont make it on the list. Anybody that is a dj will know this.

But in relation to the list being bullshit. Yes it is, ITS A FIX. Anyone who hasnt copped on already is just fooling themselves. Nobody actualy cares who votes for who, at the end of the day, its the people that are always in the headlines, biggest clubs & having tunes released on the biggest labels that make the list.

It's called capitalism. It's the same in hollywood, your job, high school and every where you go. Yeah sure, there is much better talent out there that will never be heard of, but hey that's capitalism. There does not seem to be a better alternative for us feeble jealous humans out there so just deal with it.

u don't know anything about the dj scene and the music. there are reasons why tiesto and AVB always is on the top. personally i think Tiesto is the no 1 dj of all time. he has created club musik as we see it today.

Year after year the list skips out on artists that truly deserves to be on the list but they'll never reach it because they are in genres people generally don't bother with. This is why you're always going to see the Trance DJs always making the list.

Maybe things are just changing but sometimes it just doesn't make any sense at all.

I found a party flyer once that had Crystal Castles headlining while they put Jeff Mills in a side room. Really? In my mind there is something infinitely stupid about that.

Plus, it's just a list. Every year it doesn't matter and every year it's total bullshit, it's a popularity contest that doesn't really reward besides stroking their egos.
