Yup i agree with you DJ hero may look fun, but as a DJ who uses turntables I will always have fun using real records, it just gives you that awesome feeling when you mix and do tricks that you spent a lot of time practicing on. You think pressing those buttons are fun, try to use your hands and mind with the real deal.

the tracks in the game are sick, mad props to the djs who made them!

You couldn't have said it better.

There's always going to be some downtime so grabbing in some video game time is always fun and relaxing. The one good thing about DJ Hero is I think it will open up more people to electronic music.

But either way, like you said, if you think DJ Hero is fun, just wait til you get out to some of the parties and hear the music in its proper environment, then you're going to have some really crazy times :)

DJ Hero is more of a fun game that gives you the chance to control music you're a fan of. It's far from an actual DJ experience but always brings smiles to those who play it! And the point is: You play games when you don't go out to a club. You're gonna miss all of those crazy encounters regardless of what game you play!

Either way, nice list.

Very true, good point.

It's a lot like Guitar Hero, you can jump into the game right away without the same learning curve of actually DJing which has its merits.

As long as people are enjoying the music right?

You didnt add in all the money you have to spend on records, speakers, etc. if you want to get on the computer and do it, sure, but if you just wanna play a few songs and get off the game then just spend the 120.00. I'm not a dj but have been in the music for a long time and find this to be pretty cool cause I dont have all the time to get into real turntablism.

Exactly!

You're going to be stuck with that same set list and what's worse is you know they'll release some DLC release that'll cost $10 for 10 songs but at the end of the day you don't own the vinyl/cd of it ya know?

It looks like it would be decent fun but then if you're in the Guitar Hero/Rock Band mood, why not just play those?

+2 cents added to the bank, thanks :D

Couldn't agree more.

I myself am not a DJ, but i have a buddy who is and i couldn't imagine him spinning the same tracks over and over.

I'll give you two cents to add to yours.
